Authentic gaming
Slots players across the globe can now check the authenticity of more games thanks to crypto casino giant Stake’s Provably Fair (PF) technology.
PF tech is now available on more than 1,200 slots
The crypto casino giant announced on Saturday that its PF tech is now available on more than 1,200 slots on both Stake.US and Stake.com.
Stake co-founder Eddie Craven took to X to announce the expansion of his online casino firm’s PF portfolio, stating that despite it not being a new system, Stake is the first iGaming company to roll it out on a major scale:
While iGaming firms traditionally use Random Number Generator (RNG) certifications to assure players their chosen slot is authentic, Stake’s PF tech ups the ante to give slots gamblers a new level of transparency.
Open source transparency
In his X release, Craven stated that all the game results of Stake’s 1,200+ PF-proofed real money slots are “fully open source and publicly verifiable.”
The Stake exec said the PF system ends players having to rely on trust, RTP assumptions, or speculate how results are generated.
“Every possible result, the exact probability of each outcome and the full mechanism behind how results are selected” can now be personally reviewed by players.
every possible game outcome “is generated and published in advance”
The Stake exec said that for the 1,200+ PF-certified slots, every possible game outcome “is generated and published in advance,” and the probability of all results are “open sourced” via a crypto function linking players with Stake servers.
“No more black box RNG or hidden mechanics,” Craven stated, adding PF tech should become industry standard for slots providers.
“Players should never have to wonder if a game is fair or how the result distribution works. They should be able to access and prove it.”
Future industry standard?
Since the birth of online slots, it’s a common gripe among losing players to claim games are rigged. Stake’s expanded PF technology increases the transparency of slots and gives players a new level of reassurance.
Professional gambler Dollartree’s reaction to Craven’s post on X summed up a player’s response, stating the PF tech was “pretty f**king impressive, and I’d like to see you push some of the big providers to also go down this road.”
“The industry needs more of this,” Dollartree stated.
