South African gamblers are enjoying an unprecedented April bonanza of A-list games from top global iGaming studios, with the latest arrival of Inspired Entertainment.

The UK-based content and systems aggregator giant announced its South Africa (SA) launch on Monday, just weeks after similar moves by Tom Horn Gaming and TaDa Gaming.
Inspired Entertainment took to X, stating its market entry into SA bolsters its “focus on delivering high-quality gaming experiences to players worldwide.”
According to an Inspired press release, the B2B firm has struck deals for six entities in SA to roll out its “premium iGaming portfolio,” with Hollywoodbets and Super Group flagship Betway mentioned as two gambling brands now offering Inspired titles.
Inspired eyes lion’s share
In a Monday release, Inspired said that Hollywoodbets and the other five firms together accounted for around 90% of SA’s online gaming market.
Inspired President and CEO Brooks Pierce said the six operators were established SA brands with access to the majority of the country’s online gamblers, and that the deal “represents an exciting opportunity for Inspired as we continue to broaden our global reach.”

Pierce said the firm was excited to bring “fresh, engaging experiences to players.” In addition, the B2B firm behind titles like Super Hot Fruits and Legend of Triton said it would be bringing “localized features tailored specifically to South African audiences.”
“We look forward to demonstrating how our content performs in this dynamic market,” Pierce added.
According to the release, the SA access deal came about via Inspired’s ongoing agreement with Las Vegas-based global gaming supplier Light & Wonder (L&W), with Inspired titles distributed via the L&W iGaming content marketplace.
SA buzz
Inspired highlighted the reason for the recent slot supplier push into SA, namely that the market is predicted to bring in around R80bn ($4.2bn) in annual gambling revenue by 2030 and is already a mature market with high disposable income per capita, strong internet availability, and high mobile phone usage.
Taiwanese casino content giant TaDa Gaming launched into SA on April 1 via a market-entry deal with Betway, bringing its portfolio including the Fortune Gems series to local players.
Last week, independent gaming studio Tom Horn Gaming rolled out in SA via Hollywoodbets.
