NFL games are always big business for US sportsbook operators, with the American Gaming Association (AGA) estimating that Americans will legally wager $30bn across the season. DraftKings has revealed that it’s had a bad start to the young season, pointing to the Week 1 Sunday Night Football game between the Buffalo Bills and the Baltimore Ravens as the company’s worst-ever single-game result in its history:

The game saw some massive swings, with the Bills going down 15 points late in the third quarter before rallying in the fourth to win, 41-40. Many DraftKings bettors did well on player prop bets and Bills pre-game and in-game moneyline wagers, especially when they were down big.
