FanDuel has changed its terms and conditions, with many people on social media claiming the catalyst for this was a betting tipster whose seven-leg MLB home run parlay led to the sportsbook losing $2.2m on Monday. The individual himself won about $100,000 from the $11 bet.

gives the operator the right to void any bets made by a group of people

The alteration to FanDuel’s terms sees the addition of a rule giving the operator the right to void any bets made by a group of people “acting in conjunction with each other” or individually to defraud FanDuel. It also added a clause about suspending accounts that appear to fall under the “business usage” category.

Many people on social media pointed out the hypocrisy of FanDuel offering pre-made parlay suggestions on its platform from celebrities like Rob Gronkowski while not allowing regular bettors to share their bets and copy one another.
