Asmongold is one of the most popular streamers on Twitch, boasting 3.6 million followers on the popular platform. Now, he has followed in the footsteps of xQc and Trainwreckstv by moving to Kick, the streaming platform backed by crypto casino Stake.

Kick’s official X account posted to announce the news in typical fashion:

Train, who made the transition to Kick in 2022 when it first launched, was one of the first to congratulate Asmongold. He replied simply “W” to the Kick post, implying that the signing was a huge win. Meanwhile, Asmongold himself responded to confirm that streaming would begin on Monday.

Asmongold is an American streamer also known as ZackRawrr who began streaming in 2009. His content primarily focuses on games such as World of Warcraft.

Stake launched Kick in October 2022 in response to Twitch’s decision to ban content related to unregulated online casinos. This included Stake, which sponsored many streamers to play exclusively on its site. Now, it has deals with Train, Roshtein, and many others to stream on Kick.

Kick prides itself on a creator-favorable sub revenue split of 95/5. According to the platform, this allows new streamers to follow a “promising financial journey.” The platform also boasts a creator incentive program which launched last year and paid streamers more than $3m in its first three months.
