Finally ready to go

Resorts World Las Vegas is set to officially open its doors this summer. The property announced on Monday that June 24, 2021 is the grand opening date. The resort development is the first in over a decade to be constructed from the ground-up on the Las Vegas Strip.

Details of the opening were added on Twitter:

The casino is anticipating a busy opening and is already taking reservations for hotel stays. Guests can use the casino’s website or call to book their stay.

Gaming at Resorts World Las Vegas

Promoting itself as a next-generation casino, the Resorts World Las Vegas gaming floor is 117,000 square feet in size. As one would expect, slot machines and table games are available at a variety of betting limits. For high rollers, the property is home to high-limit areas.

Developed by Genting Berhad, the property naturally uses the Genting Rewards program as its player incentive. This program provides players with the opportunity to earn points while playing games. Points apply to shopping, gameplay, or dining experiences.

President of Resorts World Las Vegas Scott Sibella commented that the casino is set to redefine the hospitality standard in Las Vegas. The property will offer “unmatched dining and entertainment, more variety of hotel accommodations than anywhere else on the Strip, and the city’s most progressive technology.”

Also located on-site is Crockfords Las Vegas, the luxury hotel section of the property that also offers a high-end gaming experience.

Guests of Crockfords have access to a special hotel tower and an exclusive area for casino gaming. The space includes personalized lounge service, VIP experiences, and premium gaming options.

Sportsbook and poker room

Also available in the casino is a sportsbook and poker room. The Dawg House Saloon & Sportsbook provides a combination of live entertainment, sports betting, and pub dining. Players can easily move from the sportsbook to the casino floor, placing bets on the latest sports games as they happen in real-time.

a technologically advanced gaming experience in the poker space

In the poker room, the casino offers individual games and tournament options. The room features several large poker tables with plenty of space to stretch out and relax. The casino boasts a technologically advanced gaming experience in the poker space.

Increased capacity in nevada

The new Resorts World Las Vegas prepares to open as Nevada has set a goal to be at 100% capacity by June 1. Just two months ago, Governor Steve Sisolak announced that as COVID-19 case counts improve, the casinos could go from 25% to 35% capacity. By mid-March, casinos were up to 50% capacity.

This month, the governor announced that all counties are expected to be back to 100% capacity by June 1. Casinos would be able to increase capacity as well, bringing back more employees and welcoming more guests. Sisolak praised the success of the vaccination programs in the state as one reason why things could get back to a sense of normalcy soon.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has encouraged all operators to help employees with the vaccination process. Many companies such as Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas Sands, MGM Resorts, and Caesars Entertainment have opened on-site vaccination clinics to serve employees and their family members.

If the 100% capacity limit is reached, Resorts World Las Vegas will be able to offer services without any capacity restrictions once operational.
