Two guests who braved the winter storm that hit the East Coast last weekend both won jackpots in excess of $1m at the same Atlantic City casino.
The record-breaking snowfall brought with it what Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City has dubbed its “blizzard of jackpots” weekend of February 20-22.
First in bringing the cash storm to the Seminole Tribe of Florida-owned casino was a Long Island, New York man, who won a $1,362,883 jackpot on a Dragon Link Panda Magic slot machine.

Then it was the turn of a New Jersey man to hit a Royal Flush on a game of Three Card Poker to win a $1,043,287 mega jackpot. A local radio station later said after the double jackpots that: “the casino floor must have been electric that night.”
While the New Jersey man won the bet on cards with a $5 progressive side bet, the New Yorker’s win came from a $50 bet on a $2-minimum machine.
According to the jackpot-friendly hotel-casino, it is also planning a $50m “capital improvement” in 2026, which will include the opening of a “new high-limit slot parlor.”
