Bryson DeChambeau Becomes Kalshi’s First-Ever Athlete Partner

Bryson DeChambeau is on board as Kalshi’s first-ever athlete partner. The prediction market platform revealed the news on Wednesday, revealing that the agreement will see the 32-year-old golfer appearing in a television commercial, at certain events, promotions, and across social media content:

The prediction markets platform will also launch markets specifically focusing on DeChambeau, including taking bets on record-breaking attempts on his YouTube channel and during LIV Golf events.

When Dave Rumsey of Front Office Sports asked the two-time major winner if Kalshi should partner with LIV Golf, he replied, “they have to, come on.”

This isn’t the first time that DeChambeau has partnered with a gambling-related company. He was the first professional golfer on the PGA Tour to partner with DraftKings in 2020.

Kalshi is clearly looking to embed itself across the world of professional sports. It signed an agreement with the NHL in October to become an official prediction market partner, alongside Polymarket. This was followed by its first partnership with a major sports team, when it inked a deal with the Chicago Blackhawks in December. Other major leagues like the NBA, NFL, and MLB have been wary about following suit.

Some non-sports-related partnerships it has also announced in recent months include CNN, CNBC, and StockX.
