Two officers from the police force for Greater London have been sentenced for sexually assaulting a woman at the UK capital’s famous Hippodrome Casino.
Judge Mark Weekes handed Jerome Beasley, 43, and Luke Robinson, 40, suspended jail sentences on Monday, while describing the pair as an “embarrassment” to the uniform.
The suspended sentences of 15 and 18 months for Weekes and Beasley, respectively, were because the drunken pair “repeatedly touched the woman’s breasts in clear view of others, ignoring her pleas for them to stop.”
The officers, who have since been fired from the Metropolitan Police’s Central West Command Unit, assaulted the woman at a Hippodrome Casino rooftop bar while off duty in April 2024.
The incident began when the drunken and now disgraced ex-cops started comparing the size of their hands, and proceeded to touch the victim’s breasts “while she was trying to take a selfie.”
took advantage of her intoxication
My London cited court records revealing the woman also had her butt “squeezed hard” and was left “horrified, shocked and vulnerable.” The woman said the pair took advantage of her intoxication and “made me doubt my own sanity.”
The woman stated that since the assault, she has been suffering PTSD and panic attacks.
