xQc could be about to make a bold move by streaming gambling content from Kick on Twitch.

Twitch banned all forms of gambling-related content from unregulated sites like Rollbit and Stake in 2022. However, the Amazon-owned platform has agreed to permit the Counter-Strike Star Ladder Budapest Major despite the Rollbit crypto casino serving as one of the main partners. Tournament organizers agreed that there will be no verbal mentions of the brand during the broadcasts, just physical branding.

The Canadian believes that removing the operator’s logo on the actual screen will allow him to bypass Twitch’s rules

xQc has now suggested using this as an opportunity to integrate Stake into Twitch streams, something he hasn’t been able to do since the ban came into effect. He described on Thursday his plans to hang a large Stake banner in the room behind him while he plays slots. The Canadian believes that removing the operator’s logo on the actual screen will allow him to bypass Twitch’s rules:

xQc has more than 12 million followers on the platform, which puts him in the top ten of all creators.

If he does follow through on the idea, no doubt content creators in the space will be watching closely to see Twitch’s reaction. Some observers on social media speculated that the platform might be willing to loosen the rules due to recent declines in advertising income.
