Duel.com, a deliberately edgy crypto casino, has taken its envelope-pushing marketing strategy to another level after reports emerged it had partnered with polarizing social media influencer Andrew Tate.

While no official announcement has yet been aired, both Duel and Tate have posted teaser material on social media with the Romanian training in branded Duel merchandise:

Even the hint of Tate and Duel teaming up has given the Ossi Ketola-owned brand instant lift off, with some affiliate marketing sites claiming that just hours after the announcement Duel’s platform engagement “spiked to record levels.”

This surge was allegedly boosted by a limited-time sign-up code (Topbet) that swamped social media feeds.

While fans might be lapping up the news, the Duel-Tate partnership has drawn widespread criticism from within the gaming sector. Those critics claim that linking with Tate, a figure facing human-trafficking and rape charges in Romania and the United Kingdom, is against industry ethics.

If the tie-up does officially happen it will give the brand owned by the Finnish entrepreneur and high-stakes poker player Ketola access to Tate’s 10 million followers on X.

Tate previously publicly deemed gambling a forbidden activity after he allegedly converted to Islam.
