Wynn Resorts has plans to build a new road that will connect its under-development casino resort in Ras Al Khaimah with Dubai and other major cities. The company revealed that Wynn Boulevard will make the Marjan Beach district accessible to the region’s main highways. Real estate developer Marjan confirmed that over AED1bn (US$278m) has been committed to constructing this road.
The first-ever land-based casino in the UAE is expected to open in spring 2027. Wynn has a 40% stake in the project, with RAK Hospitality Holding controlling 59% and Marjan holding a 1% interest.
Marjan CEO Abdulla Al Abdouli provided an update on the construction progress, stating interested parties have already built 61 of the planned 70+ floors. Everything is on track for a completion date of March 2027.
