Two runners-up in the popular Amazing Race television show have used their talents to set a new Guinness World Record for visiting the most casinos in one day. Joel Strasser and Garrett Smith went to 115 properties in Las Vegas, starting on September 25 at 3pm and finishing exactly 24 hours later.

They beat the previous record of playing live table games at 74 casinos, which Gary Meyer and Kimo Ah Yun set in 2017. A couple surpassed this total in February when they reached 110 casinos in the city, although it wasn’t official as Armijn Meijer and Dominique van der Geer didn’t just rely on public transport. They got a helicopter to Primm and went from property to property in an SUV.

Las Vegas doesn’t have 115 actual casinos that offer live table games

While Las Vegas doesn’t have 115 actual casinos that offer live table games, Guinness World Records allowed Strasser and Smith to visit other establishments that offer electronic table games, such as bars.

The pair collected casino chips, vouchers, and photos of their visits to verify that they actually visited all 115 venues.
