On October 3, a 33-foot Italian luxury yacht costing $3m will be paraded down the Strip before a crane lifts it into the the man-made lake. A ceremonial first voyage of the still unnamed yacht will take place as the fountain show begins:
Select people will have the chance to ride on the boat when they visit a soon-to-open seafood restaurant. The Carbone Riviera at the Bellagio will have its very own dock, and will add to the entertainment and food services already available at the iconic venue, which houses an expansive casino with table games and real money slots.
One eagle-eyed X user remarked about the timing of the boat’s unveiling, as it will take place when the grandstands erected for the Las Vegas F1 Grand Prix in November will block much of the view of the lake.
