Despite the high prices in Las Vegas at the moment, people still love going there, which is why it was ranked the third “funnest” US city in a recent poll. WalletHub’s study used a 100-point scale across 26 metrics, the two main focuses being nightlife and entertainment/recreation.

The only states that beat Nevada’s final score of 58.17 points were Florida with 63.83 and California with 66.89 points. Illinois and New York close out the top five.
Unsurprisingly, Nevada took the honor of being the best state for nightlife, although it only ranked eighth for recreation/entertainment. Another standout was that it ranked second-lowest for wine price and fifth-lowest for beer. Where it fell down were the low numbers of marinas, country clubs and general golf courses.
The states with the unfortunate distinction of placing at the other end of the list include Arkansas, Delaware, Rhode Island, and Mississippi, with West Virginia finishing bottom of the pile.
