Hooters is no more at the Oyo Las Vegas, a property just east of the Strip on Tropicana Blvd. This comes off the back of its parent company filing for bankruptcy earlier this year, causing dozens of locations to close down in June. Explanations for the company’s decline are poor traffic levels and financial troubles.

departure was quite sudden and the expectation was that it would remain open

The reasons for closing the Las Vegas location for good on Friday are unclear, as the departure was quite sudden and the expectation was that it would remain open.
