on the run from a first-degree murder charge

The 29-year-old is on the run from a first-degree murder charge issued in January 2023 for the killing of Ty Jenkins, 25, on the second floor of the Tacoma casino’s parking garage.

According to reports, Hylton allegedly shot Jenkins at Emerald Queen before fleeing the scene in a red Toyota Corolla. Hylton’s escape vehicle, ironically, was the color of a rival gang, the Bloods.

Hylton is believed to be a local member of the Crips, a notorious gang that sports blue clothing as a sign of allegiance.

Prosecutors suspect Hylton killed Jenkins over a gang beef. Law enforcement believes the alleged killer may still be in the Puget Sound region but has warned the public that Hylton “is dangerous, likely armed, and should not be approached.”
