A golf bettor has turned a £5.08 ($6.79) each-way parlay wager into almost £15,000 ($20,000) after successfully predicting the winners of tournaments on four different tours.

The William Hill bettor backed Scottie Scheffler to win the CJ Cup Byron Nelson on the PGA Tour, Bryson DeChambeau in the LIV Golf Korea event, Stewart Cink at the Insperity Invitational on the Champions Tour, and Haerun Ryu on the LPGA Tour’s Black Desert Championship.

All the golfers were relatively short odds before the action teed off, ranging from +275 to +1,200, with the combined bet carrying odds of +289,900.

A William Hill spokesperson said that getting the right winner on one golf event is hard enough, let alone four across different tours.
