Gunfight Near The Strat Hotel in Las Vegas Leaves Two Dead

A gunfight that broke out near The Strat Hotel in Las Vegas has left two people dead and another pair hospitalized.

Las Vegas Locally took to X with news of the shootings that took place in the Strip area known as Naked City:

KSNV News 3 stated that the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to 9-1-1 calls of gunshots fired at the 200 block of W Chicago.

Arriving at the scene around 5:30pm, LVMPD officers found one person on the sidewalk “suffering from a gunshot wound.” Medical staff pronounced this individual as “dead on the scene.”

A vehicle promptly arrived to ferry the three other men, who had all received gunshot wounds and who police all linked to the shooting, to the Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas.

The wounds proved fatal for another suspect involved in the shootings, who medical personnel later pronounced dead at the Las Vegas Medical District hospital. The LVMPD stated another man is still in critical condition, while the fourth’s injuries were not life threatening.

Police officials said the four were involved an argument that turned physical and escalated into them drawing their weapons. While the LVMPD stated the scene of the shootings now poses no danger to members of the public, it urged those with information about the incident to get in touch.
