Boy, that escalated quickly

The Big Bet Poker LIVE channel broadcasts streams of high stakes cash games taking place at the Bally’s poker room in the Tropicana on the Las Vegas Strip. Many big names from the poker scene have made guest appearances, with lesser-known individuals also playing.

On Wednesday night’s stream, two players – Jason Liu and Austin Yoo – got caught up in a war of words. They were both part of a hand when the trash talking began and quickly escalated:

Liu, who brought a bible with him, said during the tirade that he was bipolar and “f*****g insane.” After Yoo asked if the New York native knew who he was, Liu responded by proclaiming he didn’t give a f**k and said he would “beat the s**t out of” his opponent, suggesting they take the matter outside.

Yoo then went off saying: “I will f**k your mother in front of you and torture her while you watch.” The back and forth continued in a similar fashion for another minute or so before the producers decided to stop the game.

The aftermath

The YouTube chat was still running after the end of the live stream, with the Big Bet Poker LIVE channel stating that Jason is scheduled to be back playing on Friday. When asked what happened after the cameras stopped rolling, the channel said that security had to be called to break up a fight between the two players.

Austin was at the bottom of the seven-person table cumulative winnings standings at the time of the argument, having lost $19,200; Jason was only $100 in the red after having just joined the action.

Liu has been garnering plenty of attention for his antics at Las Vegas poker tables in recent weeks. Numerous videos on Twitter show him dancing during games and confronting fellow players:
