Fanatics has made an early spring charge into the US online slot sector with two headlining launches including a WWE-branded game.
Following Thursday’s rollout of RLX Gaming slots on Fanatics Casino’s platform in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, the sportswear giant’s casino arm has launched WrestleMania: Road to Gold.
Sports media site WrestleOps took to X with news of the real money game’s launch on Thursday:
Built by White Hat Gaming’s content-development studio exclusively for Fanatics, Road to Gold’s roster includes reigning WWE champions Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley with audio voiced by legendary ringside announcer Michael Cole.
The US-exclusive game comes as WrestleMania 42 makes its return to Las Vegas on April 18.
a season-long narrative arc”
According to a Fanatics release, Road to Gold takes players through a series of WWE Premium Live Events. Progressive bonus features modeled on Royal Rumble, Summer Slam, Survivor Series, Elimination Chamber, and Money in the Bank will, reportedly give the real money slot “a season-long narrative arc rather than a static spin-and-win loop.”
White Hat Studios’ Vice President of Gaming Armen Tatarevic said his studio’s objective was to channel the brand “legacy” of WWE directly into the game’s design.
Fanatics Betting and Gaming’s President of Casino Conor Grant, meanwhile, stated that the slot had perfectly captured the energy of “worldwide entertainment phenomenon” WWE.
