A player from Baton Rouge has won $1,132,124.08 playing a 1-cent Wheel of Fortune slot machine at Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Mississippi.
According to the Biloxi Sun Herald, after playing the slot for over 15 minutes on Monday, the player placed a $3 bet that returned the $1m prize.
Casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast recorded 31 jackpots of $100k or more in 2025, but Beau Rivage now has the honor of being the first South Mississippi casino of 2026 to cross the threshold.

Beau Rivage’s Senior Manager of Slot Operations Steven Mink said the casino was “super excited to have the first statewide area progressive of the new year.”
Mink said that over the past six years, Beau Rivage has seen its number of jackpot winners increase year-over-year.
In 2022, a woman from Alabama hit the million-dollar progressive on a Beau Rivage Wheel of Fortune slot to win $1.1m. According to the Herald, the win came after Houston businessman Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale “seemingly spread his luck around the casino.”
The casino’s slots spokesman added that in 2025, Beau Rivage recorded 192,999 jackpots that paid out $516,348,104. “We anticipate even more winners in 2026,” Mink concluded.
