The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) is cracking down on unlicensed sites that are targeting players in Malta and the rest of Europe. It has issued a warning regarding two operators which are claiming to be licensed by the MGA. The regulator says it has issued no such licenses.

engaging with these types of sites could pose risks

The two sites in question include lavbet321 and kasinoseta. Both of them claim that they are connected to the MGA or are holders of Maltese gaming licenses. The MGA warned that engaging with these types of sites could pose risks as they are not regulated.

If any players want to check if the site they are using is licensed by the MGA, the body provides a publicly accessible register of authorized sites. These operators are all subject to stringent compliance standards intended to safeguard gamblers.

“The aim is to help people identify signs of harmful behavior early and understand what support is available,” an MGA spokesperson explained.
