AI product makes X bow
International provider Better Collective has announced the launch of its AI-powered betting product on X.

In a news release, the Denmark-headquartered firm said Playbook would transform how fans place bets. It said the partnership with X is strategic in establishing the AI product as “the premier sports betting-bot across the US.”
Playbook works by using bet slip image recognition, betting content, and tips to give the user a link to a third-party digital sportsbook with their bet slip pre-loaded.
Better Collective said the X partnership was in line with its plans to grow its “retention-focused” sports betting products.
Changing the conversation
The firm referenced sports fans betting over €1.5trn ($1.7trn) annually, and claimed that Playbook will create “a powerful new channel for engagement, retention, and long-term partner value.”
Better Collective added that embedding options to bet within social media conversations prolongs fan engagement, which provides Playbook’s sportsbook partners “with consistent value.”

According to Next.io, Playbook represents an “industry-wide shift” to AI products that both acquire and retain customers. As such, its launch for the NFL season and Wednesday’s rollout on X gives Better Collective’s AI product mass exposure during one of the US’s highest-volume sports betting periods.
Great expectations
Executives from both partner firms expressed their excitement with the Playbook-X integration. Better Collective Co-CEO Christian Kirk Rasmussen took to LinkedIn Tuesday to praise the “huge team effort.”

Fellow co-CEO Jesper Søgaard, Co-founder & Co-CEO of Better Collective said the tie-up will give sports fans “instant access to AI-generated betslips right where the global sports conversation happens.”
X Corp Director & Global Lead of Developer Platform Chris Park said the partnership will redefine how fans “connect, engage, and interact with live sports.”
