Wynn Resorts will spend as much as US$750m over the next 18 months to expand and upgrade its resorts in the Special Administrative Region of China, Macau.
One of the marquee works will be building a new events center in Wynn Palace. The plan is to open the Wynn Palace Event and Entertainment facility in early 2028, once it gets the green light from the government.

Other notable projects include an expansion of its Chairman’s Club gaming area, which is the Wynn’s most exclusive gaming area on the island, and a facelift for the Wynn Macau’s hotel rooms in the luxurious Wynn Tower. The company believes the work will enhance the experience of guests.
Wynn is reporting its second-quarter results on Friday when more details will come to light. Commenting on the competitiveness of the Macau casino market, Wynn Resorts CEO Craig Billings said that it’s “absolutely hand-to-hand combat for market share.”
