Players Era, an EverWonder Studio company, announced the launch of a college basketball showcase at two MGM Resorts International hotels at the south end of the Las Vegas Strip.

The new competition comes after the success of the Players Era Festival in Las Vegas during Thanksgiving 2024.

The November Mania will be hosted at MGM Grand’s Golden Arena and Mandalay Bay’s Michelob Ultra Arena, and will feature 15 men’s college teams currently ranked in the Too-Early Top-45 Offseason rankings. Six of these teams played in last year’s NCAA Sweet 16. The women’s showcase will include three of last year’s NCAA tournament Final Four teams.

finals will be televised and streamed on the TNT Sports network

The announcement stated that 18 teams will play over 30 games in the four-day competition. The women’s and men’s finals will be televised and streamed on the TNT Sports network; the men’s final will be played on Thanksgiving Day.

“We look forward to, once again, hosting the Players Era Festival and delivering the student-athletes, coaches, staff and college basketball fans nationwide another championship experience here in Las Vegas,” said Lance Evans, MGM Resorts International’s SVP of Sports & Sponsorships.

In the men’s tournament, teams that win their first two games will qualify for the Players Era Championship and Third-Place matchups. Seeding for teams will be determined by point differential, points scored, and points allowed.

Meanwhile, the women’s championship will be a four-team tournament, with the championship game set for November 27.
