Las Vegas is used to breaking weather records by now. Last year, the Nevada city saw its all-time hottest temperature on record of 120 degrees, now it has broken the record for its wettest May. Not only that, Sin City broke the record within just six days of the month.

The rain caused flooding in some areas. Las Vegas Locally reported on flooded parking garages. Drone footage shared by local news site KTNV showed flooding at Amigo Street and Robindale Road in Las Vegas following the storm:
It wasn’t just rain either. Las Vegas Locally report that some areas of Las Vegas experienced snow and hail on Monday.
Some of Las Vegas’ casino operators are experiencing grey clouds too. MGM Resorts International announced it was ending in-person concierge services at two of its Las Vegas properties last month, laying off a number of staff to do so. The share prices of MGM, Caesars Entertainment, and Wynn Resorts have all dropped substantially so far this year.
