Open for business
The Washington Nationals’ stadium is officially home to the first sportsbook at a Major League Baseball (MLB) venue. The BetMGM Sportsbook at Nationals Park opened on Monday, offering guests access to premium sports betting services on site at the stadium.
The sportsbook overlaps with the BetMGM app, which launched in Washington, D.C. in June 2021. Bettors can wager on the app within a two-block radius of the stadium.
Details of the BetMGM Sportsbook at Nationals Park
The new sportsbook offers ample space for sports fans visiting Nationals Park. The facility has 40 big-screen televisions for game viewing and live odds boards. Players have the option of placing a wager with employees at six betting windows or at self-serve kiosks.
On non-event days, Nationals Park offers complimentary parking for guests of the BetMGM Sportsbook within the GEICO Garage. Visitors must validate parking tickets inside the sportsbook to access the free parking option.
BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt commented on the first sportsbook in an MLB stadium, pointing out that BetMGM is constantly pushing the boundaries of the industry to provide sports fans with a unique experience.

BetMGM and the Washington Nationals first signed a partnership deal in January 2021, announcing the upcoming sportsbook for the stadium. Fans will find the new sportsbook is located in the former Center Field Social, across Center Field Plaza from the team store.
Teaming up with the PGA Tour
In addition to Major League Baseball, BetMGM is spreading its sports betting product to other leagues, including golf. In December 2021, the company announced an extension of its partnership deal with the PGA Tour through 2024.
With the extension, BetMGM continues to provide odds on the digital platforms of the PGA Tour. The sportsbook plans to offer continual odds for the PGA website on its player pages and leaderboards.
Upon signing the deal, BetMGM chief revenue officer Matt Prevost stated that the PGA Tour is a fantastic partner, and the company looks forward to continuing its relationship. Since teaming up with the tour, BetMGM has seen an increase in players betting on golf, and they are excited to be the exclusive odds provider for the tour from now on.
