When you hit that big jackpot in Las Vegas, what will you spend the money on? Well, it might never happen but if it does, you better make sure you’ve got a plan for what you’re going to do with all that cash.

Spending $1m in Vegas is a lot easier than you probably think.

Las Vegas is one of the most luxurious cities in the world and it’s a playground for the super-rich – if you’ve got the right bank balance to enjoy it.

Here are a few suggestions for ways to get rid of that money burning a hole in your pocket.

A $5,000 burger

Spending a million bucks is going to be a big task, so it’s a good idea to start with a full stomach.

Nothing says ‘I can afford to waste my money’ quite like ordering a $5,000 burger. Head to the Fleur restaurant and you can tuck into a burger made of Wagyu beet, truffle and foie gras.

Don’t panic, that’s not all you get for your $5,000. The price includes a bottle of vintage wine to wash down your burger with.

A $320,000 Ferrari

A flash car is the standard first purchase of any newly rich person. Because this is Vegas, rather than heading for a shady car dealership off the freeway, you can just go straight into the Wynn Las Vegas casino to buy your Ferrari.

Wynn Las Vegas has the only official Ferrari car dealership in Nevada at its resort. There’s a great range of supercars to choose from, including brand new and second hand vehicles.

Obviously, second hand cars are for poor people, so go all out and treat yourself to a $320,000 Ferrari 458 Italia.

A $250,000 drink with a view

It’s time for more booze. Mosey on over to the Hyde Bellagio nightclub and book yourself one of the world’s most expensive bottle service packages.

Your table is located high above the hustle and bustle of The Strip and looks out right over the famous Bellagio Fountains. Your personal server will bring out a gold magnum of Armand de Brignac champagne and a mysterious box.

This box gives you the power to pick a song and start off a personalised fountain and light show, all set to your favourite party track.

Now is the time to look down at those tiny, insignificant, ant-like tourists trudging around the streets, while you quaff your ice cold champagne. Evil cackling is optional.

Book into a $100,00-a-night hotel suite

You’ve probably gotten used to living like the top 1% of society by this point, so you can’t be expected to go and sleep in some bug-infested motel. In fact, even Vegas’ deluxe rooms won’t meet your exacting new standards. That means it’s time for a suite.

The Empathy Suite at the Palms Casino Resort is designed by British artist Damien Hirst and costs a cool $100,000 per night.

The suite is 9,000sq ft big, comes with a 24-hour butler and includes an open air jacuzzi, Hirst’s piece of art called Vegas which is just a cabinet full of diamonds and erm…a salt relaxation room (whatever that is).

Beach front BBQ for $100,00+

Money really can buy you happiness (at least for a while) at the Mandalay Bay Beach Bar and Grill. After all the frenzied spending you indulged in the night before, it’s time to say goodbye to Vegas by throwing an epic brunch party.

The location for your last blowout is the Mandalay Bay resort’s man-made beach. It’s part of an 11-acre waterpark that’s designed to feel like a natural paradise. Here’s an idea of what it looks like, just ignore all those people because your party won’t be open to the public:

For $15,000 you can rent the whole of the Mandalay Beach aquatic park for you and a group of buddies. For your money you’ll get a BBQ brunch, champagne and an open-air movie experience.

To really make special memories, you can fork out the extra cash to hire a superstar to perform while you and your pals float around the lazy river. Prices for a personal show are $100,000 and up, depending on what star you book.
