New reign in Spain

Avanti Studios, a live casino B2B supplier launched in January by ex-Leo Vegas executives Gustaf Hagman and Jonas Delin, has made a major market entry into Spain.

new live casino games for the first time in ten years

Avanti’s rollout brings Spanish players new live casino games for the first time in ten years, and comes via a deal with Luckia, one of the country’s leading entertainment and gaming groups. Avanti’s maiden entry into the Spanish market sees a range of its proprietary titles including Dragon Tiger, Toro y Matador, Baccarat, and soon Blackjack En Vivo, now live on Luckia’s Spanish iGaming platform Luckia.es.

Under the Spanish Gambling Act, its is mandatory for all on- and offline casino games to be Random Number Generator (RNG) Certified. Avanti’s combination of real-time multiplayer gameplay with RNG-supported outcomes within its games allows the firm to enter the Spanish market fully compliant.

According to a press release, Avanti enables firms like Luckia to “deliver innovative live casino content within the current regulatory framework, unlocking new opportunities for differentiation and growth.”

Advantage Avanti

The deal means Avanti has become the first operator since 2013 to offer live casino content in Spain, giving it a significant competitive advantage.

The news release Delin shared on LinkedIn describes Avanti games as featuring “life-like digital clones that are modelled on the actions of professionally-trained dealers and brought to life using MetaHuman and 3D animation tools.”

The builds eliminate physical studio costs and staffing overheads, with Avanti positioning itself as a cost-efficient alternative to traditional live casino games.

Avanti also stated its live dealers and digital environments can be white-labeled to match any operator’s brand, language, dealing speed, and stakes, similar to how TaDa Gaming whitelabeled its Fortune Gems series via Betway for entry into the South African market recently.

change the face of live casino in the country”

According to Tuesday’s release, Luckia also plans a major advertising campaign to promote Avanti content to Spanish audiences, prompting trade media to state the deal “looks sure to change the face of live casino in the country for good.”

New experience for Spanish players

Avanti Studios co-founder Jonas Delin, who stepped down as CEO of ex-LeoVegas live dealer arm Authentic Gaming in April, said “we couldn’t think of a better partner to be launching our games in Spain.”

Delin praised Luckia for its omnichannel presence, “incredibly popular online platform” and strong retail products across slots and casino, and sports betting.

The exec added that his firm looked forward to boosting Luckia’s live casino portfolio with “a vast range of tables and games.”

“We’re confident that our next generation titles will give the operator the flexibility it needs while also proving a huge hit with Spanish players.”
