Popular Kick streamer Trainwreckstv has gone after Twitch for how it is approaching its gambling content. The Amazon-owned platform banned creators from playing on unregulated gambling sites like Stake and Roobet in October 2022, prompting many of the biggest personalities, including Trainwreck and xQc, to move to Kick for their gambling content.

Trainwreck says that the gambling content shown on Twitch these days is ten times worse than it was when Stake was allowed on the platform. He said that it’s “hyper aggressive, deceptive, affiliate pushing, massive viewer inflation viewbotting.” The 35-year-old believes that they failed in creating someone who could take over as “Train 2.0” and have ended up with a different type of gambling personality:

Trainwreck also exposed affiliate code streamers who fake everything they do, and the people who are signing up don’t realize the incentives that streamers get for pushing the codes.

Train said he could have made $2bn

He has consistently spoken out against people who promote affiliate codes. In a recent stream, Train said he could have made $2bn if he had pushed them, but decided not to five years ago.

Trainwreck only recently returned after a three-month hiatus for gambling, and lost $10m in just two days.
