Sports data giant Sportradar has launched Playradar, a dedicated iGaming brand. The rollout marks a significant push into the online casino content market and opens a new chapter of player choice, enjoying slots alongside their sports betting.

The company announced the news on Tuesday and outlined how Playradar will deliver a fully integrated selection of casino products, including slots, table games, and crash games. They will be distributed through Sportradar’s existing network of licensed operators in North America, the UK, and Latin America.

Playradar plans to blend live and historical sports data with casino mechanics to create games in which real sporting events drive the in-game action. A live prediction product is also in development.

Former Playtech Live CEO Edo Haitin is heading up the new venture, bringing to bear more than two decades of experience in live casino development and iGaming operations. He said that the goal is to “create hybrid content and gaming experiences to capitalise on the rising popularity of sports casino consumption.”

Sportradar CEO Carsten Koerl sees this launch as being a natural extension of the existing business, stating that most of its clients already operate across both sportsbook and casino verticals.

Game releases are scheduled throughout 2026 and responsible gaming will be integrated across all of the products.
