High-profile fans of ex-Hollywood talent agency owner turned-actor PJ Schulte are pushing for Netflix to cast the “Swindle” star in an eight-part casino drama directed by legendary director Martin Scorsese.

Social media star Jayline Ojeda appeared to have started the buzz on Deadline’s Instagram post on the Scorsese series, stating on Friday, “They need [PJ Schulte] in this show!”:
Boxer Ryan Garcia responded a day later in agreement stating: “Got to get PJ starring in this!!” Comedian and content creator Adam Waheed concurred with: “Need to cast my guy PJ for this!!”
Interviewed on a Hollywood sidewalk last week, Schulte admitted to hearing his name being pushed for the series unrelated to Scorsese’s 1995 movie Casino. “I love Scorsese” Schulte said, stating he “would love to” work on the Netflix series, while talking up the credentials of ‘Billions’ co-creators Levien and Koppelman.
“That would be a dream come true,” the actor added.
Other big names suggested for the still unnamed Netflix series include Sharon Stone, who one fan stated “better be starring in this in some way. Best role of her career!” Two others agreed: “If [Sharon Stone] isn’t in it I will not be watching, and: “Write her a FAT cheque (sic) thank you [Netflix] HONOUR THIS ICONIC ACTRESS.”
Another Instagram fan threatened a “riot” if James Lesure and Josh Duhamel were not in the cast.
