An unnamed guest of the Mohegan Sun casino in Uncasville, Connecticut struck it lucky twice in one night, hitting two big jackpots.
The casino took to X on Sunday to share the twin-win with photos of the winning slots captioned: “No you aren’t seeing double”:
According to the casino, the guest won the lesser amount of $80,685.92 playing Aristocrat Gaming’s Ancient Egyptian-themed slot machine Mo Mummy.
The player’s big win came on another Aristocrat machine, Dollar Storm, which cranked out a $122,492.25 jackpot.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas, meanwhile, took to X after a Minnesota man won $400,000 on an IGT-made Top Dollar slot machine on Wednesday:
While Alex B’s Vegas jackpot is twice what the Connecticut player made, experiencing two jackpots in one night is priceless.
Ironically, neither Mohegan Sun or Golden Nugget were named recently among the casinos with “loosest slots” in the US, gaming venues with slots that have a higher theoretical payout percentage. That honor went to Circus Circus, Resorts World New York City, Atlantic City, and Colorado’s Grande Casino.
