A Las Vegas bettor will win at least $6.6m regardless of whether the New England Patriots or Seattle Seahawks win Super Bowl LX on Sunday.

The unnamed gambler has reportedly already won “almost $10.5m” from Circa Sports thanks to seven pre-season bets on the Seahawks, and will pocket another $3m if Seattle lifts the Vince Lombardi trophy this weekend.
According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the Vegas man also backed the Patriots on the money line at both Circa Sports and BetMGM sportsbook for a total of $1.8m to potentially win $3.5m.
At BetMGM, the bettor’s already pocketed nearly $1.5m after the Seahawks’ playoff run and would win over $3m if Seattle triumph. Thanks, however, to a $725,000 hedge bet on the Patriots money line (+195) to win $1.41m, the bettor has locked in a profit of “either $2.2m if the Seahawks win or $1.36m if they lose.”
MGM Resorts Director of Trading Lamarr Mitchell stated: “We had the guy that bet early in the year on the Seahawks. He absolutely came back with a hedge bet, so he’s a winner either way,”
“He’s going to win either the Patriots money line or Seahawks future book.”
“That’s the guy that came in in August” said Circa Vice President of Operations for The D and Golden Gate Mike Palm, recalling when the man made seven $50k bets on the Seahawks. Palm said that after hitting the first three, the bettor’s $3m profit if Seattle wins was “a nice hedge.”
According to the LVR-J, taking into account all the Vegas bettor’s futures and hedge bets, he’ll win a total of either $8.1m if Seattle triumphs, or $6.6m if the Pats win on Sunday.
