Twitch shocked the streaming world in 2022 when the platform banned all formed of gambling content from unregulated sites. Those unregulated sites includes the likes of Stake, Rainbet, and Rollbit, who had partnered some of the biggest names in streaming.

Since then, Stake has launched its own streaming platform called Kick, allowing major streamers such as xQc, Trainwreckstv, and Roshtein to continue playing slots for their fans. Now though, xQc thinks he might have a way to return to Twitch.

Twitch permitted the Counter-Strike Star Ladder Budapest Major to stream

He revealed the plan in November last year, inspired by the fact that Twitch permitted the Counter-Strike Star Ladder Budapest Major to stream, despite ads for Rollbit in the background. Since these were just banners and there was no verbal mention of the brand during the broadcast, Twitch approved the stream.

xQc believes that by those same rules he can hang a large Stake banner in the back of his stream while playing slots. If he removes the Stake logo from the actual screen while he plays, then he claims this should bypass the anti-unregulated-gambling rules of Twitch.

In a recent stream with Trainwreckstv, the blond-haired-Canadian revealed the banner that he will use to test his theory out. He said the CEO and owner of crypto casino Stake, Eddie Craven, gifted him the huge banner:

Only time will tell whether xQc’s plan is genius or stupidity.
