According to NY for Free, Kalshi has scheduled a takeover of 3rd Avenue market on Tuesday to give out up to $50 worth of free groceries to all who attend “while supplies last!”

The New York Post cited Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour, who stated his firm believes in “free markets,” adding: “We love New York.”

Reports state Kalshi will completely rebrand the market with promotional advertising. The Post stated Kalshi will offer interesting markets like: “Will the price of eggs go up this month?”

Kalshi’s campaign objective is “to educate the general public about trading on real-life outcomes with money” while also helping New York citizens “combat rising grocery costs by giving some lucky shoppers a break.”
