Poker Pro Arrested in Toronto for Alleged Sexual Assault

Law enforcement in Toronto has arrested a poker pro who allegedly committed a sexual assault on Thursday. Officers apprehended Daniel Kwon on Monday at his residence, charging him with several offenses, including sexual assault, forcible confinement, and possession of a Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.

Investigators believe that there could be other victims and are asking for anyone with additional information to contact the Toronto Police Service:

While Kwon’s live tournament cashes add up to only $23,412, he appeared on Hustler Casino Live a couple of times in May 2024. Both times, he bought into the event for $1m. As described by PokerNews, he was down $404,000 after his initial outing and over $1m the second day.
