A Kick streamer has highlighted the danger of getting too excited when gambling online after a misclick cost him dearly. Rydurz, who has over 26,700 followers on the platform, was playing a game of live dealer blackjack when the incident occurred:

The streamer had a $5,000 bet down when he was looking at a 19 versus the dealer’s nine. Rydurz got out of his seat after seeing the cards and excitedly told his chat that this was the hand that he needed. He accidentally hit, which led him to bust with a final total of 23. The dealer’s second card was a nine, which would have meant Rydurz would have won $10,000 if he hadn’t misclicked.

Rydurz went on tilt after that, losing $150,000 during the entire stream. The creator’s followers on X commiserated with him, saying that online gambling sites should require confirmation before making a decision.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a rare occurrence. Several other streamers have misclicked, which resulted in differing fortunes. In August, Kick streamer Doug lost CA$30,000 (US$21,697) after accidentally clicking the max bet button while playing Mines. Clabrzy accidentally wagered CA$1 (US$0.72) instead of CA$1,000 (US$723) in his first round of Limbo. He then went on to win his next hand with his actual intended CA$1,000 (US$723) stake, resulting in a CA$2,000 (US$1,446) profit.
