A poster on X has done a deep dive on a Polymarket user who profited $1m in a single day betting on Google search markets.

The post claims that the prediction markets platform user named “AlphaRacoon” is a Google insider, as they have a track record of getting their calls exactly right ahead of public releases from the Alphabet-owned company:

Every year, Google releases data on the most searched people and topics; it revealed the 2025 information on Wednesday. The alleged insider had $3.9m in open positions and won 22 of their 23 bets. The best return was placing $10,000 on d4vd as the most searched person on Google, which led to a 20x return.
