The Dallas Cowboys disciplined star wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens for reportedly breaking curfew on Sunday night at the Red Rock Casino in Las Vegas. Head Coach Brian Schottenheimer did not initially provide the specific reasons for benching the pair for the team’s opening drive on Monday Night Football (MNF).
One report on social media said that Lamb was spotted at the casino vomiting at 7:30am on Monday morning, just 13 hours before his team took on the Las Vegas Raiders. The Cowboys went on to win the game 33-16, helped by Lamb and Pickens combining for 14 receptions, 210 yards, and two touchdowns. Lamb also passed Dez Bryant for the most receiving yards in Cowboys history.
he maintained he wasn’t vomiting
The star receiver confirmed on Thursday that he had dinner and “a few” drinks at the Nevada casino after curfew. However, he maintained he wasn’t vomiting, saying that he knows how to hold his liquor. Media pressed him to go into further detail about his benching, which the 26-year-old refused.
