A tech researcher has uncovered a hidden website that seemingly shows Coinbase’s plans to expand into the prediction market space.
Jane Manchun Wong has a reputation for finding hidden features inside the codebase for major platforms like X, Instagram, and Facebook. She posted screenshots on Tuesday showing her latest findings:
Included in the images are onboarding pages, a dashboard of prediction markets, and FAQ sections. One page shows that Coinbase Financial Markets is running the platform in collaboration with Kalshi. The markets included sports, economics, and politics.
Prediction markets are now all the rage in the US. Exchanges like Crypto.com and Gemini have already announced their own versions.
