Trainwreck is never shy to express his opinion, and his latest target is Twitch and its CEO Dan Clancy, who he claims endorsed viewbotting streamers. The Kick star said his suspicions first arose when the Amazon-owned platform released a viewbotting update in July, which targeted “everyone but the main culprits.”

Train contended that all of the main viewbotters who’ve “destroyed the viewership ecosystem” were completely untouched. He went as far as saying it’s similar to Hollywood in the way that Twitch protects its big stars:
This isn’t the first time that Trainwreck has commented on Twitch’s policy regarding viewbotters. He has called for third-party audits of viewership figures to uncover the culprits, as he believes the current safety checks are conducted by individuals who stand to benefit from inflated numbers.
Then last month, he deleted an X post in which he accused Twitch of hurting legitimate smaller creators who were accidentally impacted by Twitch’s July crackdown. Some of these smaller channels reportedly were incorrectly flagged and lost up to half of their viewership in certain cases as a result.
