A former scourge of Las Vegas casinos who conducted cage robberies and stole cars to escape the crime scenes has been apprehended again, this time in South Florida.
Dshante Styles, 35, was fleeing a Vegas arrest warrant for “human trafficking and multiple violent crimes” when Miami Beach Police Department (MBPD) officers arrested him earlier this week.
The MBPD took to X with bodycam footage of Styles’ arrest, from a high-speed car chase to the veteran fugitive’s attempt to flee on foot past stores, along a seafront promenade, and into a residential suburb:
Nevada courts in September 2023 sentenced Styles to a minimum six years in prison for multiple crimes, including casino cage robberies at seven casino-hotels over that same year. Those targeted by Styles were M Resort Spa Casino, Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa and Casino, Silverton Casino Lodge, Rampart Casino, and Palace Station Hotel & Casino.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) officers arrested Styles in April 2023 on over 60 charges, with Metro noting the casino robber was previously convicted in 2009 of at least 13 separate robberies.
His arrest on Monday as part of an FBI, LVMPD, and MBPD coordinated operation comes after the Nevada Department of Corrections (NDOC) granted Styles parole in December 2023.
According to NDOC records, Styles was freed and placed under house arrest until December 2024. The convicted felon was also prohibited from owning a firearm, and required to maintain a full-time job, abstain from alcohol, and “stay out of trouble.”
Styles’ arrest warrant out of Vegas suggests he couldn’t avoid the latter, with the MBPD stating on Monday that “this violent fugitive is now off the streets.”
Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation records reveal Styles is being held at Metro West Detention Center on a “fugitive warrant-out of state extradite,” and is being charged with fleeing a traffic stop and attempting to elude police.
