A poker pro who has recorded more than $3.7m in live tournament winnings remains in custody after threatening a judge and the CEO of the World Poker Tour (WPT), Adam Pliska. Jordan Cristos has been in the Clark County Detention Center since June. He pleaded guilty in September to a felony charge of attempted stalking through the internet or electronic communication.

Cristos allegedly sent threatening emails to Family Court Judge Regina McConnell, who is in charge of a child custody matter involving the 38-year-old poker player. He also posted abusive messages on the social media page of a church the judge attends. She was even tagged in a photo of Cristos and his child in which he wished death upon the judge.
In a separate case, Cristos also faces accusations of sending possible threatening messages to the WPT CEO and some of the organization’s employees. In one such message, he asked to have his account reinstated if he deleted certain social media posts. Cristos said: “if you do not accept my offer, then you are going to meet the legend and the stalker in more ways than one.”
