BetMGM, Steelers Extend iGaming Partnership, Introduce Steel City Slingo

BetMGM has announced an extension to its iGaming partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The sportsbook brand will now remain the Steeler’s Official Sports Betting, Online Casino, and Gaming Partner until 2029.

BetMGM announced the news via a press release on Friday. As per the extended deal, BetMGM retains full use of the NFL franchise’s marks and logos and branding rights to all its platforms while continuing to run the Decade of Black & Gold Sweepstakes fan competition. 

The updated partnership also includes a new addition to BetMGM’s portfolio of Steelers’ branded real money slot, Steel City Slingo, a casino game developed by Gaming Realms online slots arm Slingo Originals.

The extended tie-up also includes a new in-stadium, Pennsylvania-only promotion that offers a casino bonus for Steelers-branded online casino games if the NFL team scores three or more touchdowns in a game. 

BetMGM Chief Marketing Officer said with its Steelers casino games and game day activations, his company is “focused on creating memorable moments for fans.”

Pittsburgh Steelers Senior Vice President of Business Operations Ryan Huzjak also expressed his excitement about the extended partnership, stating fans “will notice new in-game elements and opportunities in addition to the existing Steelers-branded casino games.”
