plans to relaunch its Empire State platform in the next few weeks

The Atlanta-based company announced the news on Wednesday, confirming that the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) granted it a license after verifying that the online gambling operator ticked all necessary boxes. It plans to relaunch its Empire State platform in the next few weeks.

Talking about the impending relaunch, PrizePicks Head of Public Policy said that the approval was made possible after working “diligently to design a game that meets the Commission’s rigorous standards.”

The DFS operator has had a busy few weeks. Last month, it was revealed that Allwyn Entertainment purchased a majority stake in the company for $1.6bn and that it also received approval from the Commodities and Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to launch prediction markets.
