Tyson launches show

Mike Tyson is set to launch a one-man show at Hard Rock casinos later this year, titled “Return of the Mike.”

scheduled to be filmed for a major streaming platform

The 59-year-old Tyson announced the tour, which includes stops in Florida and Atlantic City, will take place before his upcoming fight against Floyd Mayweather, which is scheduled for the spring of 2026. The Florida leg of the tour is also scheduled to be filmed for a major streaming platform.

The show will go into detail about the recent decade of Tyson’s career as well as his more storied past, including his return to fight Jake Paul and his many legal and financial troubles.

Stage return

Tyson is no stranger to the stage, having performed a one-man show over a decade ago entitled “Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth.” That tour took him to 36 cities, but Tyson says that there will be plenty of new material.

“A lot has happened since the last time I did a one-man show,” said Tyson, speaking to ESPN. “I get to tell you guys about all of my new lawsuits that you don’t know about and some other pretty exciting stuff that has happened in my life.

“It’ll be very exciting, pretty riveting, a few sad stories and a totally different insight on the things that you may have already known about.”

Perhaps the most major event to have taken place since is Tyson’s stunning return to the ring, which saw him come out of retirement again to fight Paul.

“It was scary, because I hadn’t walked out for a professional fight in 20 years, and I wasn’t prepared for all the love the fans gave me that night. It overwhelmed me.”

The tour will kick off in Rockford, Illinois on November 9 before heading to Cincinnati on November 23. Tyson will then appear at the Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, Florida on December 14 before concluding the tour on January 23, 2026, in Atlantic City.

Iron Mike

Tyson’s upcoming bout against Mayweather has sparked several concerns about his health and whether it will be safe to fight at his advanced age. However, his earlier fight with Paul raised similar concerns, which Tyson says will form a significant part of the show.

I was just bleeding everywhere. There was so much blood.”

“There are so many things I’m going to talk about with that fight,” Tyson said. “I didn’t know how dangerous an ulcer was. I thought it was going to calm down in an hour or two, but I passed out on the plane. I was just bleeding everywhere. There was so much blood. They had to stop the flight and take me to the hospital.”

Speaking about the show, Hard Rock’s President of Entertainment and Brand Keith Sheldon said: “As the proud host of ‘Return of the Mike,’ this show will add to Hard Rock’s legacy as a curator of one-of-a-kind experiences.

“We’re excited to give Mike Tyson fans exclusive access to one of the greatest athletes in history, in his most honest and entertaining form.”
