Bragg confirmed the news on Monday, releasing a statement that said it “believe that the data breach was limited to Bragg’s internal computer environment” based on the preliminary investigation. Staff first discovered the hack on Saturday morning.

Despite the hack, Bragg claims that no personal information was affected. Also, it stated “the reach has had no impact on the ability of the Company to continue its operations, nor has it been restricted from accessing any data that has been subject to the breach.”

Bragg is a Canada-headquartered casino supplier that works with operators across the globe, including Caesars, PokerStars, and Hard Rock Bet. Most recently, Bragg worked with the latter to launch its new Liberty Fortune Slot.

Cyber attacks are a growing concern in the gambling industry. One of the most prominent cases of this occurred in 2023 when hackers infiltrated the systems of Caesars and MGM. MGM had to shut down its casino floors, and guests couldn’t access their hotel rooms. In contrast, Caesars paid off the hackers millions of dollars to avoid such issues.
