Metallica will put pen to paper on a deal to secure a residency at the Las Vegas Sphere in the fall of 2026, according to reports.

A story in the Las Vegas Review-Journal says that recent rumors of the band’s residency are true, which will make them the first-ever heavy metal act to play at the iconic venue.

The legendary rockers already have dates lined up for 2026, resuming their world tour this November in Perth, Australia. The tour will come to an end in London, England on July 5, making a late fall residency very much possible.
